This policy describes what information CarAudioPlanner (“we”, “us”) collects when you use caraudioplanner.com, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

Information we collect

Account data. If you sign in, we store your email address and the builds you save. We use Supabase to host this data.

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate usage — pages viewed, CTA clicks, general region, device type. GA4 uses cookies and processes a truncated form of your IP address. We do not use GA4 for advertising or remarketing.

Hosting logs. Our host (Vercel) logs requests for security and reliability. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to identify individual users.

Cookies and consent

The only cookies we set are for Google Analytics, and only after you accept the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, which will show the banner again.

How we use the data

To run and improve the product: keep your builds available across sessions, understand which features get used, and fix bugs. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
